Weaving together the styles of the mod revival of London, and the grungier, indie-psych-post rock of the region they hail from, Pulp Romance’s new release questions power structures, both political and societal, challenging the way we cope with collective trauma. Serving as a synchronous accompaniment to the dichotomies of a society that feeds our egos and vices, the tracks explore the complexities of navigating love while coming of age. Experiences from lucid dreams, to affairs and drug-fueled heartache, to the pain of losing someone you thought you’d treasure forever are reminiscent in this exciting new A/B out of Portland, OR.
